Theme of the next issue:
"SCARLETT FEVER"
UCE has decided to push the color barrier and dedicate an entire issue to one, blood-turning, heart-racing color – RED. We want to showcase the power and passion that red not only signifies but ignites within us. Red is the temptress of the color wheel – extroverted, warm, powerful and seductive. Studies have shown that the color red can have a physical effect on people as well as emotional. Red incites an increased rate of respiration and raised blood pressure, feelings of anger as well as joy. There are countless shades of red and each has its own meaning and effect. We encourage you to choose a shade of red and interpret its nature throughout your work.
Here are a few elements you can incorporate into storylines and photos:
-Storylines and photos should be - PREDOMINATELY RED – whether that is through the use of clothing, accessories, makeup, backgrounds, lighting or post-production.
As always, be sure to incorporate modern high fashion and beauty trends.
