Here Sienna Miller is caught wearing her classic Wayfarers in a bold and daring red.If you’re not into the red like Sienna; you may want to try the black, tortoise shell brown or white frames.

Go Green this Spring

Posted on January 18, 2008, 6:41 pm by Mandi

“Going green” is a fast growing lifestyle trend among everyone from George Clooney to Brad Pitt, and the fashion industry is getting in on all the action.  Eco-friendly garments for spring were all over the runways during  New York's Fashion week and are now making their way to major retail stores near you.

Heavyweights such as Versace and Marc Jacobs are using  raw materials including hemp, bamboo and organic cotton to create their chic, eco-friendly garments. Want to go green on the high street? Check out stores such as  H&M and Be Sweet for great “green” deals.

Looking good never felt this good!

Polished Style for Men on Limited Budget = H&M

Posted on January 13, 2008, 4:13 pm by Xarian

Acquiring a polished and sophisticated look does not necessarily require bucketloads of cash (although it would make it easier). One can get a classic and stylish look even on a limited budget. I, personally, love wearing clothes from Dolce & Gabbana or Missoni. However, once in a while, H&M comes along and grabs my attention. Recently, I was invited to a party, and being short of cash, I visited H&M and did the best I could. Here is what I found:

A plain cotton dark blue, half shirt (approx. $16.00)
A black vest (approx. $33.00)
A pair of cotton navy blue pinstriped pants (approx $66.00)
A black, grey and white checkered cloth belt (approx $10.00)

So, in total I spent $125.00! Not bad for a polished and elegant look. I have to give H&M credit, they rock!

The Sex in the City Naked Dress, Revisited

Posted on December 10, 2007, 8:20 am by Sonya

Remember that naked dress Carrie wore in "SATC?" The one that made Mr. Big fall for her? Well, it's back, only this time not so naked with a little gold sheen... this Bebe twist-front dress reeks of holiday glamour and if you're not sure about the nakedness of the shade it's also available in black and shimmermoss (a sort of lime). Either way, the effect is Hollywood meow.

The Holiday Dress: LBD remixed

Posted on December 3, 2007, 8:02 am by Sonya

Should you be on the hunt for a gorgeous party dress this holiday season but are already tired of the sequined mini-dresses that have suddenly sprouted everywhere like disco weeds, may I suggest donning a more formal version of the Little Black Dress? This lovely number from Young, Broke, and Fabulous features a surprisingly modest bodice and hem while the back remains killingly sexy. Not only does the dress ooze of 30's Old Hollywood sophistication (think Madame Gres), but it also manages to achieve the retro effect without going the overdone Dita route. Just don't be surprised if a certain chap mistakes you for Ms. Harlow as he passes the champagne. ($176 at Shopbop.com)
