Beach Hair Made Easy!

Posted on February 8, 2008, 7:35 pm by Mandi

Warm weather is on its way and if you're like me, you'll be spending a lot of time at the beach.  So how do you keep your hair looking oh-so-fabulous between wind, sand and saltwater? It's easier than you think, and with these quick hair tips, you and your tresses will be ready for some fun in the sun!

Au Natural

For those of you who are lucky to have naturally wavy or curly hair, let it go wild and free on beach days.  If you don't, a little squirt of Aussies Scrunch Spray will have you sporting those waves.

Wrap it Up

Head scarves are a great trend with celebrities right now, and perfect for a day at the beach to hide a messy do.  Simply find a scarf you like, and twist around your pony tail like the following celebs.

Blocking Agent

Like your skin, its very important to protect your hair from harmful UV rays.  Use a spray in UV protestant with conditioner like Sunpact's spray to keep your hair looking great.

Salty Spritzer

Salt water is actually very good for your hair, believe it or not.  Not only does it give your tresses more texture, but it holds your style.  Scrunch your hair when you emerge from the sea and you'll be surprised with how well it stays.

HairDo by Jessica Simpson

In my world, there are a few types of hair people:  Those who have short hair and love it.  Those who have short hair and want long hair.  Or, those who have long hair and are too afraid of cutting it short, in fear of missing their luscious locks.

If you found yourself smirking and nodding your head when reading any of those descriptions, you may want to consider HairDo.

Say what? Say Salon Clip-in extensions developed by Jessica Simpson and her hair stylist Ken Paves.

It's available in 100 percent fine human hair or Kanekalon Vibralite modacrylic fiber, and can be purchased in four different textures: long, mid-length, straight, or softly waved.

So, if you're one of those people who get bored easily with your hair, or are afraid of trying a new cut...this may be the safe and fun option for you.  They are virtually undetectable and can be put in and taken out effortlessly.
